Yolanda Zepeda

Yolanda Zepeda, 75, of George West, Texas, gained her wings for heaven on Monday, September 27, 2021. She was lovingly surrounded by her family at the time of her passing.

Yolanda was born December 11, 1945 to Celia De Los Santos and Manuel Munoz in Beeville. As an active member of St. George Catholic Church, she practiced her faith daily.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Celia Munoz; and a sister, Ofelia Simmons.

Survivors include her husband, Rosendo “Chendo“ Ruiz; her daughter, Cynthia Zepeda; Godson, Gregory Guerrero; stepchildren, Michelle Ruiz and Robert Ruiz; several step-grandchildren; brother, Manuel Munoz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 30, at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West with the Rosary to be recited at 7 o’clock.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
