Xavier Alexander Paiz

Xavier Alexander Paiz, 28, was born on November 15, 1997, to Trinidad Paiz III & Yolanda Marin Paiz, in Wharton,Tx. He married Claudia Delgado on March 20th @ Impact Church in George West, Tx where his parents were pastors. This is where he attended church and played drums for 17yrs.

He resided in Odem, Tx with his wife and 2 handsome boys, Jace Andrew (7) & Jhett Alexander (2).

They are currently expecting their 3rd son, which is due on Xavier’s birthday.

Xavier was a 2016 graduate of George West High School. After graduating he attended Coastal Bend College in Beeville, Tx, where he graduated with several Welding Certifications. He was an excellent welder. He was known for making the best briskets, and loved cooking in general for his family, two of his many talents. He was also an excellent drummer. He was a carpenter, plumber, & could lay a floor down in no time. He had the most contagious smile that would light up any room.

Xavier was a respectful, hard working man, and an amazing husband & father. His priorities were providing for his family, and spending as much time with them as possible. He loved to vacation, take road trips & and spend time with family and friends. He loved his wife, children, in-laws & parents and had a special bond with his brothers Nick & Silas.

His love for baseball motivated him to coach a travel baseball team of high school aged athletes alongside his friend Colton McCool.

Xavier was currently attending Church Unlimited where he served on the worship team as a drummer @ the Portland Campus. He loved God and loved to share the gospel and seized any opportunity. As the priest of his home, he wanted to be sure, that his family was established in a church. It was evident that he was a man of God simply by his lifestyle. He was only 28 yrs young and had so much life ahead of him and so many plans for his growing family.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather (Popo) Elias Marin Sr.; his Grandmother (AMA) Angelita Paiz; niece Kehlani Grace & uncle Fanc Paiz.

He is survived by his wife Claudia Delgado Paiz; and two sons, Jace Andrew & Jhett Alexander. His parents Trinidad & Yolanda Paiz; brothers, Nick(Jessica) Marin & Silas Paiz; Grandfather Trinidad Paiz Jr; Grandmother Rebecca Aguirre; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Also extended family & friends!

He graduated into heaven on July 18, 2026. He will be greatly missed!

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Brush Country Cowboy Church in Live Oak County with a funeral service to be held at 12 o'clock with Pastor's Peter Zarate and Andy Salazar officiating. 

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
