Virginia Dale Daughtrey Carroll

Virginia Dale Daughtrey Carroll, 71, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

Virginia was a woman who found joy in life's simple pleasures and treasured the moments spent with those she loved. She enjoyed traveling, reading, playing bingo, and collecting beautiful blown glass pieces. She had a special love for hummingbirds and the color lavender.

Above all, Virginia loved spending time with her family and friends. Whether sharing stories, enjoying a game of bingo, or making memories on her travels, she cherished the laughter, love, and togetherness that made life special. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve Allen Carroll; her parents, Lawrence J. and May Dell Daughtrey; and her sisters, Cindy F. Daughtrey and Chrissy Stagner.

She is survived by her daughter Karen Minor; her siblings, Vicki (Monty) Currie, Lawrence Daughtrey, Robert (Anna) Daughtrey, Wayne Daughtrey, David (Esmer) Daughtrey,

John (Jane) Daughtrey, Patricia Daughtrey, Rosie (Jerry) Shipman, Tommy Daughtrey, Sherrie (Jay) Koch, Michelle Daughtrey, and Valerie (Larry) Atkinson; and her grandchildren, Krystin Reyna, Steve Austin Carroll, and Caleb (Laury) Morris. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren, C.J., Avelino, Cayden, Conner, and Paislee, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 9, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville.

The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. and on Tuesday, November 10, at Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery
