Victor Juarez, 87, of George West, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018.
Mr. Juarez was born Dec. 23, 1930, in Laredo, Texas, to Salome and Jesusa (Munoz) Juarez. He married Emma Nieto in George West and was a member of St. George Catholic Church. He was a farmer and in the agricultural business.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; grandparents; and a son-in-law, Narciso Arciba Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Juarez of George West; 10 children, Jose Munoz of Tahoka, Maria Sotelo and Janie Ozuna, both of Ennis, Rosita (Santos) Gomez of Avalon, Benito Munoz, Emma (Jose) Colunga, Arturo (Esperanza) Munoz and Olga Garcia, all of George West, Linda Arciba of Beeville and Corina (Jimmy) Abrigo of Normanna; 48 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West. A rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock with Shayne Katzfey officiating.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at St. George Catholic Church with Father George Johnson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Arciba, Jasper Arciba, Arturo Munoz Jr., Matthew Munoz, Freddie Gomez and James Moreno.
Honorary pallbearers will be Landin Ford and Teagan Collins.
