Thurman Gibson, Jr.

Thurman Floyd Gibson, Jr., 56, passed away on March 8, 2018. Mr. Gibson was born on May 27, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois to Coral Lee (Ables) and Thurman Floyd Gibson, Sr. He was a master carpenter and loved working with wood.
He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Vicky Mitchell.
Survivors include his two sons, Colin Gibson and Austin Gibson both of Utah; grandchildren, Gavin Gibson and Lillie Gibson; mother, Coral Lee Gibson of Beeville; sisters, Paulina (Ken) Seals of Beeville, Deneice (Jerry) Allred of Utah and Jessie (James) McDougald of Beeville; brother, Ernest (Michelle) Spicer of U.S. Virgin Islands; numerous nieces and nephews all of which were his favorites; and his beloved dog, Daisy.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The funeral service will be conducted there that morning at 11 a.m. with President Noe Garza officiating.
