Thomas Edward "Sonny" Ledwig, 82, of Dilley, Texas, passed away on October 26, 2016. He was born on October 7, 1934, to Thomas Franklin and Eleanor (Sprensil) Ledwig in George West, Texas. He married Carolyn Forehand on August 5, 2001, in Three Rivers, Texas. He was a Baptist and a rancher. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor; his father, Thomas Franklin; and three sisters, Elizabeth Bogenrife, Rita Katzfey and Irene Micka. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Forehand Ledwig; one daughter, Darla Renee Hiner and husband Billy Hiner; his three grandchildren, Catherine Nancy Hiner, Kyndal Paige Hiner and Luke Thomas Hiner; his two step-children, Beki Jo Wilson (Kelly) and Joshua Winston Wadsworth (Shanna); his step-grandchildren, Kati Jo Swasey (Sam), Maggie Jane Wilson, William Oscar Wadsworth, Joshua Gus Wadsworth and Hudson Osburn Wadsworth; eight nieces and nephews; and one brother, Anthony James Ledwig (Marsha. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Three Rivers, Texas. The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in Dilley, Texas with Dr. Lance A. Hartsfield officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the Ray Point Cemetery in Ray Point, Texas. Pallbearers will be Josh Wadsworth, Omar Salazar, Kelly Wilson, Jose Pena, Mark Katzfey and Leroy Wolff. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Tomlin, Ike Hodmann, David Huser, Joe Hudson, Bob Clifton, Sonny Whitley and Bill Carroll.
