Thermon Mcneill

Thermon McNeill, 89, passed away on April 4, 2017. He was born on October 29, 1927, to Dan and Roma Viola (Head) McNeill in Sawyer, Oklahoma. Mr. McNeill served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Mattie Sewell on August 18, 1950, in Three Rivers. He was a Baptist, a rancher and farmer and was retired from the oilfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brenda McNeill; grandsons, Todd Havrda and Michael Taylor; brothers, Daniel McNeill of Tyler, Texas and Nathaniel McNeill of Tuleta, Texas; and sister, Evelyn Huebotter of Three Rivers, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Mattie McNeill of Three Rivers; daughters, Kathy (Dennis) Havrda of Mathis and Jennifer Taylor of Three Rivers; grandchildren, Steven Craig Havrda, Tanya Whitehead, Dawn Riener, Shelley Liska, Robert Taylor, Christy Taylor, and Betty Jean Houtchens; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and sister, Pearl Dean Kaatz of Three Rivers.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Three Rivers. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017, at the Three Rivers Cemetery.

Service
