Sharon Wilson

Sharon Sue Wilson, the daughter of Mary Floy Thomas and Eugene Jackson entered this life on June 23, 1947, in Midland, Texas. She departed for her heavenly home following a bout of cancer on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at the age of 70 years.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Wilson of George West, Texas; her son, Ivan Holcombe of Bethlehem, PA; her daughter, Mary Burke of San Antonio, Texas; her granddaughters, Katlyn MyllyKangas of St. Mary's, GA and Camryn Cavazos of San Antonio; her grandson, Tim Burke of Florida; a great-grandbaby, Clint Myllykangas of St. Mary's, GA; her brother, Bill Jackson and wife Wanda of Lewisville, TX; two nieces, Melinda Proctor of Denton and Stephanie Atkins of North Richland Hills, TX; and nephew, Brad Jackson of Cave Creek, AZ.

She was loved by a host of cousins, friends and church family of which was a member of First Baptist Church of George West.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Wagner and Eugene Jackson; and brother, Mike Jackson.

We will miss her laughter, her love, and her caring spirit. Sharon, it's not good bye, but we'll see you on the other side.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at the George West Cemetery.
