Ruth Goza

Ruth "Ellen" (Walker) Goza, age 77, of Normanna, Texas, went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2018, in Victoria, Texas. She was born to Benjamin Claude and Ola Mae (Borders) Walker.

She was a faithful member of Normanna Baptist Church in Normanna, Texas. Ellen was a generous and loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She was married to her best friend, John M. Goza Sr. They had two sons, John M. Goza Jr. and Timothy W. Goza both of Normanna.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Claude and Ola Mae (Borders) Walker; her husband, John M. Goza Sr.; and brothers, John Thomas and Robert C. Walker.

She is survived by her sons, John M. Goza Jr. (Sheryl) and Timothy W. Goza (Jaime); siblings, Benny, Kenny and James Walker, Joyce Fraizer, Edith Britt, Linda Petty, Patsy Ponton, Dolly Shanklin, Betty Garza, Carol Schmidt, and Shirley Sain; her grandchildren, Robyn Delgado, Jennie Kerlick (Jeff), Andrea Cox (James), Timothy W. Goza (Annaliz), Nicki, Warren and Erik Goza, Cristin Lowry, Zack Bartlett, Kelli, Ryan, Kaitlyn and Jessica Fuentes; great-grandchildren, Jerry Delgado, Daniel Goza-Gonzalez, Joe Michael Goza, Clayton, Caleb and Callie Kerlick and Jaxton Fuentes. Extended family, Tanya A. Goza and Betty J. Goza.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home.

Interment will follow to San Domingo Cemetery in Normanna. Pastor Brian Simon will be officiating the funeral services.

Funeral services are entrusted to Galloway and Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Timothy W. Goza, II, Warren Goza, Erik Goza, James Cox, Jerry Delgado and Jeff Kerlick.

Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Goza- Gonzalez, Joe Michael Goza, Clayton and Caleb Kerlick.
