Robert Hamilton

Robert E. Hamilton, 68, of Beeville, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010. He was born on Oct. 24, 1941, in Columbus, Ark., to Dan W. and Clara Downs Hamilton. He married Debbie Pearson Hamilton in Magnolia, Ark., on Dec. 4, 1979. He served in the United States Marine Corps, was a hair stylist and a member of the Central Baptist Church in Magnolia, Ark. Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by his parents, Dan W. and Clara Downs Hamilton, his wife, Debbie Hamilton and two brothers, Bill and Allen Hamilton. Survivors include two sons, Mike Hamilton of Houston and Matt Hamilton of Hope, Ark.; one sister, Evelyn (R.C.) Jeanes of Beeville; one uncle, Dr. Forney G. Holt of Hope, Ark.; one niece, Pamela Jeanes; four cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday (today) from 5 to 6 p.m. at Galloway and Sons Funeral chapel where funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Chaplain Robert Styers and Rev. Eddie H. Garcia will officiate. Burial will be in Moore Memorial Garden in Arlington on Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. Galloway and Sons Funeral Directors
