Raymond Pettit

Raymond Thomas Pettit, 81, of Beeville, Texas, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at DeTar Hospital in Victoria.

Raymond was born July 7, 1940 in Corpus Christi to Minnie Carolyn (Ikoun) and Robert Thurman Pettit. He was a 1958 graduate of A.C. Jones High School. He served his country from 1958-1962 as Military Police in the U.S. Army and was a member of the VFW. He married Betty Louise Hensley on November 21, 1984 in Corpus Christi. He enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and Robert Pettit; a brother, Glenn Pettit; and his wife, Betty Louise Pettit.

He is survived by his stepdaughter, Crystal Lynn Zick.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 2, at Glenwood Cemetery where he will be laid to rest beside his wife.
