Raul Garcia

Raul (Tripa) Garcia, 88, of Three Rivers, Texas, died on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Mr. Garcia was born July 4, 1930, in George West to Guillerma and Ramiro Garcia. He married Virginia Ruiz on December 19, 1950, in George West. He a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Korean War. He retired from the Three Rivers Lumber Yard and was a member of St. George Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and his grandson, Aaron Garcia.

He is survived by his children, Irma (Rudy) Pena and Raolio Garcia both of Three Rivers and Ila (Mark) Dobbins of George West.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2018, at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at St. George Catholic Church. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at St. George Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the St. George Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steve Alaniz, Christopher Alaniz, Erik Garcia, Kai Garcia, David Garza and Gilbert Garza.

Honorary pallbearers will be Adain Hutchinson and Antonio Cardenas.
