Ralph Priest

Ralph Priest, 71, of Rockport, died Sunday, June 15, 2014. Mr. Priest was born July 17, 1942, in Beeville. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He married Sandra Barnes on July 15, 1989, in Rockport. He was a shrimper and lifetime member of the VFW in Aransas Pass. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Priest of Rockport; his mother, Mavis Barker of Beeville; daughter, Misty (Huie) Cosgrove of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; granddaughter, McKenzie Cosgrove; stepson, J.B. (Joyce) Spates of San Antonio; stepdaughter, Toady (Bobby) Moore of Yantis; sister, Eileen of Jefferson; and nephew, Herbert Puryear of Rockport. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Glenwood Cemetery. Galloway & Sons Funeral Home
