Quentin K. Fudge

Quentin K. Fudge, a beloved husband, father, and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, in Mineral, Texas, at the age of 87. He was born on September 10, 1937, in Beeville, Texas, to Wesley Fudge and Audrey (Wolfe) Fudge. Quentin lived a life marked by dedication, hard work, and incredible faith in God.

Quentin was a proud graduate of Pettus High School. His steadfast spirit carried him through his career as a truck driver. Earlier in life, he also served in the Army Reserves, reflecting his deep sense of duty and commitment to his country.

Outside of work and family, Quentin found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed riding his John Deere tractor, working on their ranch, a peaceful activity that connected him with the land he loved. His kind heart led him to often ride to the Mineral cemetery, where he would tend to the grounds, demonstrating his respect and love for those who had come before him.

Quentin was a faithful member of the Mathis Church of Christ where he and Barbara were avid members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Audrey Fudge, as well as an infant sister.

Quentin is survived by the love of his life for over 40 years, Barbara Denning Fudge. Their bond was a testament to steadfast love and partnership, a journey filled with laughter, support, and cherished memories. He is also survived by his daughter, Karen Fudge; two sons, Michael Fudge, and Jeffrey Fudge; as well as one sister, Ida Mae Moody. Quentin also leaves behind seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren to cherish his memory.
