Phyllis Schmidt

Phyllis June (Parrott) Schmidt, 91, of the Clareville Community in Bee County, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at 801 Gramman Assisted Residence in Beeville, Texas, where she resided the past few years.

Mrs. Schmidt was born July 25, 1927 to William H. and Ella Cynthia (Moore) Parrott in Long Beach, California. She married Gerald D. Schmidt on Nov. 7, 1952. She was a member of Mathis Church of Christi, was actively involved with her children's school activities and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a son, William Blake Schmidt.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Dee Schmidt (J.B.) Dale of Clareville; two grandchildren, William Gregory Dale and Gerald Logan Dale; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, June 3, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville followed by the funeral service at 1 o'clock.

Burial will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Paul Schmidt, James Dale, William Dale, Logan Dale, Thomas Mengers and Nathan Castaneda.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Berlanger, Tryne Mengers, Brad Schmidt, Justin Schmidt and Gordon Stuart.

The family wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the caring staff at 801 Gramman Assisted Residence who have become part of our family.
