Patricia Gruy

Patricia Ann Gruy, 74, of Beeville, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Pat was born January 8, 1944 in Grapeland, Texas to Luther Edward and Alma Leen (Musick) Ellisor. She married Viggo Gruy on October 26, 1990. Pat lived life to the fullest!! She loved spending time at the ranch and playing bridge with her friends. She was also an avid golfer, playing on a ladies' golf team at San Antonio Country Club. She enjoyed gardening, often canning much of what she grew. She also had a passion for cooking. You could always find her in the kitchen cooking up something. But most of all, she loved spending time with her beloved family.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Alma Ellisor; a sister, Judy Davis; and first husband, William Martin Myers.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Viggo Gruy of Beeville; a son, Bradley (Lori) Myers of Orange Grove; a stepson, Steve Gruy of Beeville; a stepdaughter, Lucy (Marion) Williams of Beeville; grandchildren, Lunden Myers, Luke Myers, Peyton Myers, Ellie (Adam) Muhlig, Gene (Sonia) Williams, Lela (Alberto) Muzquiz, Kate (Ted) Jaceldo and Stephen (Liz) Gruy; three brothers, John Ellisor of La Pryor, Mike Ellisor of Victoria and Wayne Ellisor of Weesatche; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2018 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roland Contreras officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Gene Williams, Alberto Muzquiz, Adam Muhlig, Stephen Gruy, Luke Myers and Ted Jaceldo.
