Monica King

Monica Lee (Morales) King, 28, of Beeville, died Thursday, June 23, 2011. Mrs. King was born June 14, 1984, in El Campo to Guadalupe (Garcia) and Raymond Morales. She was a correctional officer at TDJC-Garza East and was a Catholic. Survivors include her parents, Raymond and Guadalupe "Lupe" Morales of Mathis; a son, Christopher Lee King of Beeville; two sisters, Priscilla Morales of Mathis and Roxanne Morales of Sinton; a brother, Ramon R. Morales of Corpus Christi; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation was held from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at Galloway & Sons chapel. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mathis with Rev. James Puthenparambil officiating.
