Milton Robbins

Milton Allen "Ace" Robbins, 85, of Three Rivers, Texas, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018. Mr. Robbins was born on March 23, 1933, in Denhawken, Texas, to John and Mollie (Gann) Robbins. He married Gloria Worton on June 6, 1991, in Three Rivers. He was a police officer for over 40 years. Following his years as a San Antonio Police Officer, Ace served as Chief of Police for the city of Three Rivers for 28 years. He served on the Three Rivers ISD Board of Trustees, was a member of Three Rivers Lions Club and was a board member of Mesquite Country Club of Live Oak County.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel Rechner Robbins; parents, Mollie and John "Tot" Robbins; and brother, John Robbins.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Robbins of Three Rivers; three sons, Michael (Sandra) Robbins of Victoria, Glen (Sharon) Robbins of Panna Maria and Kenny (Terry) Robbins of George West; one daughter, Janet Robbins of Houston; seven grandchildren Krystal (Eli) Supper of Weatherford, Allison Robbins (David) of Spokane, WA, Deanna (Kurtis) Achterman of Austin, Ryan (Erin) Robbins of Burleson, Stefanie (Joel) Roemer of New Braunfels, Ashley (Josh) Gregory of Bulverde, Kenneth "Bubba" (Rachel) Robbins of Pleasanton; eleven great-grandchildren, Kensley, Kasen, Everett, Cora, Kyle, Otis, Lexi, Keegan, Hazel, Kimber and Colette; sister, Joyce Quinney; and brother, C.W. Robbins both of Stockdale.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Three Rivers with a prayer service following at 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Stockdale.

Pallbearers will be Eli Supper, Kurtis Achterman, Ryan Robbins, Joel Roemer, Lonnie Quinney, Kenneth "Bubba" Robbins, Josh Gregory and Clay Atkinson.
