Mary Delia Ruiz

Mary Delia Ruiz was born on November 12, 1944, to Ramon S. and Rosa (Mauricio) Ruiz. She was the founder and the beloved Pastor of Faith Family Life Church. She was a dedicated servant of God, having spent over 40 years in ministry preaching the gospel, mentoring, and serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Known for her inspiring sermons and unwavering faith, Pastor Delia transformed the lives of many, often serving as a pillar of strength during difficult times.

She was called home on March 8, 2026, surrounded by her family.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

2 Timothy 4:7-8

She was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Ramon and Rosa Ruiz, and her brothers, Juan Ruiz and George Ruiz.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 50 years Damacio Ruiz; her children, Joann Perez (Joe) and Rosie Garcia. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren, Andrew Gutierrez, Jason Chabera, Matthew Gutierrez, Vanessa Chabera, Joshua Chabera, Alyssa Perez, Melanie Perez, Kimberly Perez: 16 great-grandchildren, and three siblings, Arturo (Mary) Ruiz, Gloria Ruiz Schmidt and Amelia R. Bartlett. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a congregation that cherished her deeply.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 15, at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home in Three Rivers with a prayer service at 7 o’clock.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, March 16, with Pastor Rudy Guerra officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Whitsett.

Pallbearers will be Stevie Guajardo, Jayden Saenz, Rick Perez, Londie Ruiz, Oscar Ruiz, Jacob Schmidt, Corbin Zamzow, and Ashton Carney
