Mary Garcia

Mary Ann Garcia passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2022 at the age of 56. Mary Ann was born February 7, 1966 in Beeville, Texas to Moses Garcia and Lillie G. Garcia.
She met Mark Garza in high school, later to reunite on December 31, 2018. She and Mark made their home in Beeville and spent the last 3-1/2 years as inseparable companions, considering each other husband and wife.

Mary Ann graduated from A.C. Jones High School in 1984 and worked in retail. She later stopped working to take care of her ailing parents and her Aunt Helen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Patsy Denison; her grandparents; a special aunt, Helen Trujillo; and other numerous aunts and uncles.

Survivors include her fiance, Mark Garza; his parents, Jessy and Ofelia Garza and family; numerous cousins and other relatives; best friend, Tammy Benavides; and her friends at Bella’s Cottage.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7 o’clock.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, June 27, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Gonzales officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

A celebration of her life will be held following the burial at 809 W. Huntington St. in Beeville.
