Mary Beth Downes

Mrs. Mary Beth Downes, 68, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on July 12, 2026.

Mrs. Downes was born on October 28, 1957, to Virgil and Phyllis Crider in St. Paul, Minnesota.

She was a beautiful, kind soul and will be remembered by her husband, Dale Downes; two daughters, Marion and Nora Upton; two sons, Tommy and Jason Downes; multiple grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the Cadiz Baptist Church.

The family requests bright clothing attire to celebrate how much of a warm and wonderful person Mary was.
