Mary Ballard

Mary Ford Ballard, 103, of Beeville, Texas, died Monday, April 15, 2019. She was 103.

Mrs. Ballard was born October 16, 1915, in Sweet Home, Texas, to Vinson Ford and Cora (Lord) Ford. She married Andrew Zac Ballard in 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She resided in Corpus Christi until 1978 upon her retirement from civil service as a switchboard operator. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pawnee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by a son, Andrew Ross Ballard of Beeville, Texas.

Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville followed by the funeral service at 2 o'clock with David Parkman officiating.

Burial will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Robert Ford, Paul Bosse, Calvin Kuenstler, Roger Perkins, Lawrence Perkins Jr., Floyd Wolff and Matt Atkins.
