Martina Ybanez

Martina Ybanez, 84, passed away on April 17, 2016. She was born on October 28, 1931 in Calliham, Texas to Manuel and Manuela (Garza) Barrera. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jose Lopez and Lionel Ybanez; and her siblings. She is survived by her two daughters, Cristina (Joe) Acosta of Corpus Christi, and Estella Nejeres of Corpus Christi; two sons, Miguel Ybanez of Corpus Christi, and Gabriel (Guadalupe) Lopez of Houston; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Three Rivers with a rosary recited there that evening at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers. Interment will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery.
