Martha Ann Henry

Martha Ann Henry, 82, a cherished bookkeeper and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

 Born in Edinburg, Texas, Martha was known for her warm spirit and kind heart.

Martha’s life was enriched by simple pleasures that brought her joy and solace. She treasured the company of loved ones and found peace relaxing on her porch, where she often admired the wildflowers and watched local wildlife. A devoted member of Trinity Chapel Church, Martha found comfort and strength in her faith and fellowship. Her appreciation for family visits underscored her desire to remain close to those she held dear.

Martha was preceded in death by her son, Derek Henry; her father, Dan Wise; her stepfather, Harold (Al) Allen; and her mother, Helen Wise Allen.

She is survived by her devoted spouse, Lesley Henry; two sons, Alan Henry and Matthew Henry; three brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville, Texas. The funeral service will follow at 11 o’clock with Carl Pickett officiating.

Burial will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery.

Martha’s quiet strength, kindness, and gentle nature will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
