Marjorie Nell Wilkenson Bohac, 81, of Skidmore, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010. She was born to Volney D. and Ouida Dell Holbrook Wilkenson on Aug. 31, 1928, in Sinton. She married Allen Lloyd Bohac in Robstown on Feb. 17, 1949. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church in Skidmore where she taught Sunday school, an organizer of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Skidmore Fire Department, room mother, den mother for Cub Scouts and a fire department dispatcher. Mrs. Bohac was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Willie Mae Jenkins, Thelma Grace Harris and Margaret Cole; and two brothers, Ted Wilkenson and Jack Wilkenson. Survivors include her husband, Allen L. Bohac of Skidmore; one son, Ricky Dean (Lyla) Bohac of Skidmore; one sister, Bernice (James) Gressett of Aransas Pass; two step-grandchildren, Wesley Merriman and Marshall Merriman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Galloway and Sons Funeral chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday (today) at 10 a.m. at Galloway and Sons Funeral chapel with Rev. Lee Bevly and Rev. Matt Singleton officiating. Music will be provided by organist Cindy Bevly. Selections will be "In the Garden," "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art." Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore. Pallbearers will be Ricky Bohac, Eugene Bohac, Dennis Bohac, Allen Hanus, Bill Hartman, Bud Howard, Joe Cramer and John Cramer.
