Marjorie (Reagan) Bledsoe, 99, passed away peacefully at her home in Oakville, Texas, lovingly surrounded by her family on July 10, 2025.
Born January 16, 1926, in Beeville, to Rocky Reagan, Sr. and Eula Louise (Cleveland) Reagan, Marjorie lived a full and vibrant life marked by love, family and community. She was a graduate of A.C. Jones High School and furthered her education at Southern Methodist University (SMU). She married Scott Bledsoe, Jr. on January 27, 1945, at the West Ranch in George West. Her commitment to her community and her entrepreneurial spirit led her to co-found Bledsoe Aviation with her husband, Scott. Together, they navigated the skies and built a legacy that reflects their hard work and dedication. Marjorie's hobbies included cooking, hunting and riding, activities that she enjoyed alongside her family. Her nurturing spirit and culinary skills created countless memories around the dinner table, where she gathered her loved ones together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eula and Rocky Reagan, Sr.; her husband, Scott Bledsoe, Jr.; and her siblings, Flournoy Reagan, Bob Reagan, Rocky Reagan, Jr., Lucy Moore and Mary Louise Cheatham.
Marjorie’s greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Reagan Seals; and her cherished children, Scotty (Nancy) Bledsoe III, Mark (Debi) Bledsoe and Lisa (Lynn) Weber. Her love extended to her grandchildren, Jason (Beth) Ray, Will (Alexis) Bledsoe, Taylor (Jen) Bledsoe, Kate (Bobby) McKinney, Reagan Fox, Rachael Pope, Robyn (Zac) Kunze, Wes Weber and Lindsey (Troy) Goddard, along with her 24 great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
