Marilyn A. Guresky

Marilyn Amalia Guresky, 89, of Beeville, Texas passed away in her home on Saturday September 26, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Marilyn was born on October 31, 1936, to Rudolph and Amalia Mueller. She grew up in Beeville where she was baptized, made her first communion and was married in St. Joseph’s Catholic church. One of her first jobs was working at her father’s grocery store.

Marilyn married Raphael Joseph Guresky at St. Joseph’s church in Beeville on November 23,1959. Together they raised their four children in and around the Beeville area for most of their lives. All their holidays and important family celebrations were spent in Beeville. Family and her faith were the most important things in her life.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Charlotte (Bill) Simpson, Teresa Johnson, Karen (Ken) Winfield and Michael (Lisa) Guresky; Grandchildren Ashley (Richard) Guerrero, Rachael (Travis) Kloosterman, Matthew (Kendall) Johnson, Michael (Diana) Litzinger, Zachary Johnson, Sean Litzinger, Eric Winfield, Mikey Guresky and Ian Guresky; and Great Grandchildren, Abigail, Madeleine, Layla, Olivia, Hunter, Harper, Alice and Charlee.

She is also survived by her nieces, Annette (Michael) Schuller, Linda (Dale) McNallen, Mary Kay (Robert) Sherman, and Nancy (Chris) Post.

Marilyn has been preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Amalia Mueller; her husband, Ralph Guresky; a brother, Clarence (Ruby)Mueller; and her twin sister Carolyn (Pete) Malek

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 2, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 o’clock.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 3, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Gutierrez officiating.

Burial will follow at the St. Jospeh Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ashley Guerrero, Richard Guerrero, Matthew Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Michael Litzinger, Sean Litzinger, Rachael Winfield, Eric Winfield, Mikey Guresky and Ian Guresky.
