Maria Ochoa

Maria Gonzales Ochoa, 77, passed away on February 3, 2017. She was born on August 3, 1939, in Karnes County, Texas to Genaro and Manuela (Carreon) Gonzales. She married Israel “Roy” Ochoa on November 30, 1962, in Levelland, Texas. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Israel “Roy” Ochoa; two sisters, Elida Salas, Sipriana Olvera; and one brother, Apolinar Gonzales.

She is survived by three daughters, Dianna (David) Luna of Three Rivers, Norma (Martin) Zuniga of George West, and Christina Canales of McKinney; four grandchildren, Yvette, Victoria, Jonathan and Michelle Luna; sister, Sofia Zambrano; and brother, Guadalupe Gonzales (Oralia), Sr.

Visitation will be held from 4 to7 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2017, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Three Rivers with a Rosary recited there that evening at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 6, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers. Interment will follow at Nell Cemetery in Nell, Texas.

Pallbearers will Heraclio Yzaguirre, Guadalupe Gonzales, Jr., Stacey Adams, Valentin Macias, Jose Sanchez and Lucio Morin.
