Mae Frances Bryan, 93, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018, joining her father, Kirby Sharp, her mother, Rosamond Gerdes, step-father Benny Gerdes, her brother Kirby Sharp, Jr. and her son, Louis Kirby "Hoppy" Cockerham.
Born in Odem, TX on September 11, 1924, Mae Frances graduated from Sinton High School and went on to attend Baylor University, majoring in Home Economics.
Mae was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her kind and loving ways will forever be missed, but the wonderful memories she has given us will forever remain in our hearts.
Mae lives on through her daughter, Rosamond (Jack) Chesnut, and grandchildren, Lee (Kim) Chesnut, Will (Marianne) Chesnut, Lea (Bill) Whitehead Ipock, Colton (Allison) Haas, and Kerri Haas; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at the Sinton Cemetery in Sinton, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the South Texas Children's Home, in memory of Mae Frances Bryan.
