Maarlyce Clark

MaArlyce (McKelvey) Clark, 78, of Mineral, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018.
Mrs. Clark was born Jan. 20, 1940 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Howard Douglas and Gladys Viola (Jones) McKelvey. She married Samuel McFarland Clark on Feb. 23, 1958 in Edinburg and was employed at the Mineral Community Post Office. She was an active member of her community and of Beeville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Douglas "Butch" Phillips and Richard McKelvey.
Survivors include four children, Patricia Mettlach of Mineral, Viola (Eldon) Kelough of Weleetka, Oklahoma, Catherine (Michael) Vanecek of Sinton and Samuel George (Cindy) Clark of Beeville; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, David (Karen) McKelvey of Oxnard, California.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Beeville Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be conducted there at 3 o'clock that afternoon with Pastor Tim Stowe officiating. Burial will follow at Mineral Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Terry Wayne Mettlach Jr., Eldon Kelough Jr., David Kimball Clark, Michael Ray Vanecek, Samuel George Clark and Richard Matthew Haley Jr.
