Lupe Moreno

Lupe (Ramirez) Moreno, 89, of Beeville, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018.
Mrs. Moreno was born December 26, 1928, in Beeville, to Mateo and Maria (Hernandez) Ramirez. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who always gave so much and asked for so little in return. There is no amount of gratitude to thank her for always being there for us, listening to us, helping and forgiving us, loving us and always, always paving the way for us. We will work hard to reach the standard you set. Farewell sweet mama. You were simply the best.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Santos P. Moreno; two brothers, Jesus Ramirez and Monceis Ramirez; a sister, Teresa Hernandez; and an infant son.
Survivors include two sons, Apolonio (Gaby) Yzaguirre and Alonzo (Nora) Yzaguirre, both of Beeville; a daughter, Sandy (David) Valencia of Beeville; a brother, Richard (Alice) Ramirez of Beeville; a sister, Consuelo Valdez of Beeville; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer service will be conducted there that evening at 7 p.m. with Deacon Luis Trevino officiating.
Special Musical Selections will include "Wind Beneath My Wings," "Go Rest High on the Mountain" and "How Great Thou Art."
