Leonard Jones

Leonard Harold Jones, 87, passed away October 9, 2017. He was born on April 13, 1930, to Arthur and Minnie (Hickman) Jones in Beeville, Texas.

He married Doris Dinhobl on August 15, 1953, in Beeville. He served in the National Guard. Mr. Jones was a Deacon of Eastside Church of Christ and was a masonry contractor. He was the director for Bee County Horse Shows, a member of Beeville Masonic Lodge, San Miguel Electric and served on the S.P.E.C. Board.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents; and grandson, Cody Randal Jones.

He is survived by wife, Doris Jones; son, Randy Jones of Beeville; daughter, Debbie (David) Logan of Austin; sister, Mary Ellen Frye of Beeville; five grandchildren, Kirk Logan of Austin, Claire Logan of New York, Meredith Jones of Beeville, Audrey Soza of San Antonio and Brady Jones of San Antonio; and one great-grandchild, Tatum Soza of San Antonio.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Eastside Church of Christ.
