Laura Melvin

Laura Michelle (Dover) Melvin, 46, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on October 3, 2021 at Christus Spohn Hospital in Beeville.

Laura was born on December 3, 1974 in San Antonio, Texas to Robert R. Dover and Billie Jean (Mashburn) Dover.

She and Mack Melvin were married by Derrick Scogin, classmate and best friend, on June 12, 2017. She was a graduate of Pleasanton High School and Texas A&M University.

Her love of photography brought many families memories to last a lifetime. She had such a talent for bringing out the happiest moments in life.

She loved spending time with her children and family.

She was preceded in death by her “One Daddy” Robert Dover; her mother, Billie Jean Dover; and her grandparents, Grand Daddy and Nana.

Survivors include her loving husband, Mack Melvin; her boys, Hunter, Mathis, Korbyt and Holden; and her precious baby girl, Alexandria.

A memorial service is scheduled for October 30, 2021 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Jourdanton, 515 Zanderson, Jourdanton, Texas 78026.
