Judy Ann Williford, 81, went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 7, 2026.
Judy was born on October 16, 1944, in Three Rivers, Texas, to Robert Lamprecht and Viola Albrecht Lamprecht. She was the third of eight children and grew up on her family’s farm in the Ray Point community. Judy was a woman of faith and a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church in Ray Point, which later became Our Savior Lutheran Church. She was also a proud graduate of Three Rivers High School.
After graduating, Judy moved to Houston, where she began her career before marrying and starting a family. During the 1980s, she found her calling working with young children as a preschool teacher at the First Baptist Christian Child Development Center and Bay City Head Start. She had a special gift for nurturing children, and the little ones she taught always held a special place in her heart.
Above all, Judy was a devoted mother. She was her children's greatest champion and loved them dearly. They were the center of her world, and she dedicated her life to supporting and caring for them.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her infant daughter, Sharon Kay Williford; her sisters, Lorita Mae Lamprecht and Joyce LaNell Smith; her brother, Bobby Dale Lamprecht; her brothers-in-law, Homer Smith and Charles Hahn; her sister-in-law, Mildred Lamprecht; and her infant niece, Penny Mayer.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby Williford Jr. and Larry Williford; her sisters, Janis Mayer (Gordon), Frances Hahn, and Karen Melton (Robert); her brother, Donny Lamprecht (Florence); as well as numerous nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Our Savior Lutheran church in Three Rivers, with a funeral service to follow.
Interment will follow at Ray Point Cemetery in Three Rivers, Texas.
