Juanita C. Graves

Juanita (Cryer) Graves, 90, of Three Rivers, Texas, passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023.

Juanita was born to Quinton Lee and Julia (Reaves) Cryer on May 3, 1933, in the Val Verde Community of Milam County, Texas. She attended school in Val Verde for two years and then transferred to Sharp school in Sharp, Texas. She graduated from Sharp High School in 1950. She married F.A. Graves in 1951 and they moved to Big Springs, Texas and continued to relocate, living in numerous towns and seven states until settling in Three Rivers, Texas in 1966. Juanita was a member of the Three Rivers Church of Christ since 1967.

She was the 13^th child of her parents and was the last survivor of the family. Her dad and three of his brothers married four Reaves sisters. Out of these four marriages, Juanita had many double cousins and numerous other cousins.

Juanita and F.A. had four children, Bill, Bobby, Wes and Melissa and is survived by all four, William “Bill” (Susan) Graves, Robert “Bobby” (Kim) Graves, Wesley “Wes” (Cathy) Graves and Melissa Weber; as well as seven grandchildren, Tracy and Quinton Graves, Meredith and Jay Graves, Brian and Jaymie Graves and Rocky Weber; and 12 great-grandchildren, Carsyn, Jaxsen, Knox, Hudson, Leighton Kay, Trent, Leia, Avery, Leighton Nicole, Brenton, Brystol and Finley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Quinton and Julia Cryer; her husband, F.A. Graves; seven brothers, Elmer, Lonnie, Q.L., Raymond, John, Wayne and Jamie; five sisters, Virgie, Ruthie, Wilma, Erma Lee and Gladys; and a son-in-law, Mark Weber.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at the Three Rivers Church of Christ with Kevin Mackey officiating.
