John Tremaine

John Frank Tremaine, 25, passed away May 8, 2017. He was born October 22, 1991 to Robert and Carolyn (Stagg) Tremaine. John lived all his short life in Clegg, TX. He worked at the family homestead and various part-time jobs. He traveled many years with his dad, Robert, to gun shows on weekends. His hobbies included fishing, gun collecting, reptile collecting and old trucks. He looked forward to trying new restaurants and enjoyed good food. His favorite saying was “I Reckon I Never Hear’Ed of It.”

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John R. and Margaret Tremaine; father, Robert L. Tremaine; and brother, Kyle Saxton.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Tremaine; sister, Jennifer Tremaine Power (Rayford); nephew, Kyle S. Glover and niece, Katilyn Power of George West, TX; maternal grandparents, Earl and Lucille Stagg of Newton, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Brush Country Cowboy Church in George West with Pastor Pat Traxler and Pastor Thomas Stagg officiating.
