John Lewis

John Clinton Lewis, 92, of Beeville, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019.
Mr. Lewis was born Oct. 13, 1926 in Borger to John Cook and Phaye (Williams) Lewis. He married Frances Carroll in Borger on Sept. 1, 1950. He retired as an aircraft painter and served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a Christian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Phaye Lewis; his wife, Frances Lewis; and four brothers.
Survivors include two children, Clinton (Dori) Lewis of League City and Jenna Shane of Beeville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Victor Lewis of Dumas.
