August 12, 1971 – December 13, 2025
John Casey Campbell, 54, passed away at his home in Three Rivers, Texas December 13, 2025.
Casey was born August 12, 1971, in Victoria, Texas, to John N. Campbell and Peggy Hester. He was a 1989 graduate of Three Rivers High School and furthered his education at Sul Ross University. He later attended horse shoeing school in Oklahoma as well as truck driving and welding school. Professionally, he was a cowboy through and through and a horse trainer who loved breaking and training horses. He was known as the horse whisperer because of the connection he had with horses. Casey was a loving father and very proud of his daughter, Darla. He was a fun-loving guy, always had a ready smile and a willingness to help anyone in need. He will be missed immensely by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John N. Campbell, and grandparents, Hank and Fay Hester and Charles and Doris Campbell.
Survivors include his loving daughter, Darla Fay Campbell; his mother, Peggy (Gordon) Benham; and his brother, Cody (Mary Margaret) Campbell.
Services will be private.
