Jerry Shannon

Jerry Royce Shannon, 72, of Tuleta died Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Mr. Shannon was born June 29, 1939, in Houston to Robert and Edna Harris Shannon. He married Shirley Ann Malone in Beeville on Dec. 3, 1960, and served in the U.S. Marines. He was a truck driver and a diesel mechanic. He was a Baptist by faith. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Shannon of Tuleta; a son, Royce (Linda) Shannon of Tuleta; two daughters, Kimberly Hamilton of Tuleta and Lezley (Dwayne) Bearden of Kerrville;; a sister, Gretchen Terry of Tuleta; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
