James Jungman

James Paul Jungman, 77, of George West, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at Christus Spohn Shoreline in Corpus Christi.
Mr. Jungman was born Feb. 15, 1941, in Devine to Raymond and Clifteen (Turnbow) Jungman. He married Dora Jo Strause on Sept. 1, 1962. He served with the Texas National Guard and was employed with Live Oak County Emergency Management. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church, Coastal Bend Council of Governments and was a fire marshal with NAS Chase Field in Beeville and a Reserve Sheriff's Deputy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Clifteen Jungman; and a brother, Mickey Jungman.
Survivors include his wife, Dora Jo Jungman of George West; a brother, Dwayne (Troy Smith) Jungman of Austin; a daughter, Patti Jungman of San Antonio; and a son, Matt Jungman of George West.
Services will be held at a later date.
