Henry Hardwick

Henry Lee Hardwick, 56, passed away on December 10, 2017. He was born on August 26, 1961, to William Lloyd and Zora Lee (Nelson) Hardwick in Beeville, Texas. He was a 1980 graduate of George West High School, a 1984 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, and in1987, he received his law degree from the Texas Tech School of Law. He was an attorney and in 2008, retired from the Thompson & Knight Law Firm. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in George West and active in the Emmaus Community. He was a scout leader of the Portland Boy Scouts Troop 20 and a CASA volunteer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Zora Lee Hardwick.
He is survived by his daughter, Emily Gail Hardwick of Dallas, Texas; son, Christopher William Hardwick of George West, Texas; brothers, Harvey Ross (Julie) Hardwick of George West and Craig Nelson Hardwick of New Braunfels, Texas; niece, Megan Hardwick (James) Cooper of Houston, Texas; and nephew, Jeffrey William Hardwick of Norman, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017, at Galloway & Sons chapel in George West. The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at First United Methodist Church in George West. Interment will follow at George West Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rob Gayle, Paul Dirks, J.W. Turner, Randy Hill, Tim Megason, Augie Rivera, Brad Bunting and Lamon Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be First United Methodist Church Men's Emmaus Reunion Group.
