Henrietta Brundrett

Henrietta (Sahm) Brundrett, a beloved daughter, wife, mother and Nana has gone home to be reunited with her husband, Edward Payne Brundrett, Jr. She passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the age of 72.

Henrietta was born on July 16, 1946, in George West, Texas. She was the only daughter of Freda and Alwin Sahm, both of George West, Texas. Henrietta was a 1965 graduate of George West High School. She also graduated from South Texas Business School in 1967.

Henrietta married Edward Payne Brundrett, Jr., of Skidmore, Texas on January 11, 1969. They had a daughter, Heidi Lynn Brundrett.

She was a fixture in all things legal within Bee County. She was a lifelong member of the Skidmore-Tynan Volunteer Fire Department/EMS. She was a board member of the Skidmore Municipal Utility District and the South Bee County Fire District. Henrietta retired from the Law Office of Marion Williams in 2007 due to a sudden illness.

After retirement, Henrietta moved to Gruene, Texas and resided with her daughter. During those blessed 12 years with her daughter, she became "Nana" to Addison (10) and Emma (6). She actively helped in the day-to-day spoiling of her "babies."

After 12 years of dialysis and mounting medical complications, she chose to end dialysis treatment and enter hospice care. Through a bittersweet six days, she earned her wings and peacefully slept with Jesus awaiting her glorious homecoming and reunion with Ed.

Henrietta is preceded in death by her parents, Freda and Alwin Sahm; and husband, Edward Payne Brundrett, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Lynn Brundrett (Dean) of Gruene; and granddaughters, Addison Payne Armstrong and Emma Grace Armstrong. She also has several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Her daughter wishes to thank all the doctors, specialists, technicians, nurses, aides and sitters. A special thanks to Dr. Mario Rossbach and Bianca Salazar for being our gifts from God.
