IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harold Clifton
Reynolds
April 15, 1930 – February 2, 2026
Harold Clifton Reynolds, age 95, formerly of Beeville, Texas passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, at Lynridge of Arlington Assisted Living in Arlington, Texas, where he was greatly loved and known by residents and employees as “the kindest and sweetest man.”
Harold was born April 15, 1930, in Henrietta, Texas to Reuben and May Willis Reynolds. He grew up in the small town of Petrolia, Texas, making close and lifelong friends. He attended college at North Texas State University in Denton, Texas, where he met the love of his life, Constance Maurine Lindley. Harold and Connie worked their way through college at the campus theatre and married on July 28, 1951, graduating with degrees in Education that same year. Harold was drafted into the Army in 1952 and served two years in Germany.
He came home from the service and began his career in Bellevue as principal and coach. The highlight of his coaching career was leading his beloved basketball boys to the Class B State Semifinals in 1956. Harold then forged a career as a school superintendent, ultimately leading him to Beeville ISD in 1975, where he retired in 1989.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Connie (2018), and most recently in 2025, his grandson-in-law, Travis Schley (Kristen) and son-in-law, Ronald Adamek (Maurine).
He is survived by his three children, Larry Reynolds of Corpus Christi, Maurine Adamek of Yoakum and Debbie Wheeler (Curt) of Arlington. He leaves behind nine grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
His faith, devotion and love of family will be greatly missed.
A private graveside service will be held by the family at Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family suggests donations be made to the New Life Children’s Home in Guatemala which he and Connie supported for many years.
