Goldie Bellows

Goldie Darlene Bellows slipped peacefully into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, August 24th surrounded by her three daughters, in Cedar Park, from a long battle with cancer.
Darlene was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on April 10, 1939 to Clarence and Goldie Kennemer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Gilbert (J.G.) Bellows; and her sister, Billie Sue Geffert.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Hall, her husband Mark Hall of Austin, grandsons Travis (Emily) Hall of United Arab Emirates, and Jared Hall and Ryan Hall, both of Austin; daughter, Lori Singleton of Cedar Park and grandson Clayton Singleton (Courtney) of Austin and granddaughter Jessica Kelm (Drew) of Georgetown; and daughter, Leatha Ann Zamzow, her husband Larry Zamzow, granddaughters Shelby Zamzow of Houston and Landry Zamzow, and grandson Zachary Zamzow of Three Rivers; sisters, Wanda Gee (Wallace) and Delores Cunningham; brother, Clarence (Becky) Kennemer of Temple; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Darlene was a lifelong resident of Three Rivers, being a homemaker and child caregiver for many children in the area, and worked over 30 years at First State Bank. She was a loving wife to J.G. for 44 years until his death and a devoted mother and prayer warrior for her three girls and eight grandchildren. A fiercely strong woman with a servant's heart, Darlene lived her life loving and caring for others. Her family and her role as a wife, mother and grandmother were the most important things to her second only to her love for God. This is where she drew her strength and left her legacy.
She lived a full and wonderful life and kept her wonderful sense of humor up into the very end. She will be "dearly" missed. Despite her battle with cancer, Darlene remained at peace and trusted completely in God's perfect plan for her. We have peace and hope knowing she is safely sheltered in the arms of God awaiting the great reunion we will all have one day.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7
