Florentina Moya

Florentina V. Moya passed away on April 20, 2015. She was born June 20, 1938, to Jose Concepcion Verastigui and Martha (Nerios) Verastigui in Oakville, Texas. She had lived in George West all her life, until the last ten years ago, when she moved to Pleasanton. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter; three brothers; and one sister. She is survived by her sons, Ray V. Moya of Beeville, Jose Arturo Moya of Pleasanton, and Gilbert Moya also of Pleasanton; two grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one sister, Dominga Perez of Lamesa. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West with a rosary recited there that evening at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at St. George Catholic Church with Father George Johnson as Celebrant. Interment will follow at the George West Cemetery.
