Evonia Vanhooser

Evonia H. Vanhooser, 96, of Mesquite formerly of Bee County, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014. Mrs. Vanhooser was born Oct. 2, 1918, in Wichita Falls, to Marjorie (Zimmerman) and John Paul Hawthorne. She married John Benton Vanhooser and was retired after 20 years with Sears in Beeville. She was a member of First Untied Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Survivors include a son, Mike (Patricia) Vanhooser of Rockwall; and a granddaughter, Carla (Mark) Tribelli of San Saba. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Galloway & Sons Funeral Home
