Elorine Evelyn Franke

Elorine Evelyn (Pieper) Franke, 90, of Pawnee, Texas passed away Monday, May 25, 2026, in George West.

Elorine was born May 26, 1935, to Herbert Pieper and Carolyne Pfenniger in Yorktown, Texas. She graduated from high school and carried the values of hard work, kindness, and dedication throughout her life. She married Allan Franke on May 31, 1952, in Kenedy, Texas.

Elorine enjoyed many simple pleasures that brought joy to her days. She loved antique shopping, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. She also worked at Live Oak Auction Goodie Box, where she was known for her friendly spirit and strong work ethic.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Allan Franke; and her parents, Herbert and Carolyne Pieper.

Survivors include her children, Randle (Nora) Franke, Billy (Tiffany) Younts, and Krista (Curt) Davis; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Three Rivers.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, June 1, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Three Rivers, with Lay Minister Terry Retzloff officiating. Burial will follow in the Pawnee Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Barry Samsel, Dennis Guthrie, Corky Franke, Kyle Savage, Jeffery Younts and Mike Younts.
