Eleanor "Linda" Davis

Eleanor "Linda" Davis, 88, of Beeville, Texas passed away on March 6, 2026, at Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville.

Linda was born on February 25, 1938, in Lockhart, Texas to the late Maurice V. and Alice Rae (Hall) Walker.

She was a devoted member of the Skidmore Baptist Church as well as the Eastern Star Organization, reflecting her strong faith and commitment.

Linda was preceded in death by her devoted husband, James Davis; beloved parents, Maurice V. and Alice Rae (Hall) Walker; her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth C. (Hildebrand) and Robert E.L. Eison; and her brother and sister-in-law, Maurice V. (Anita) Walker Jr.

She is survived by her loving children, Matthew Davis and his wife Angela, Ruth Cox and her husband Kenneth, and Tracie Fenner; her grandson Andriew Fenner and his wife Maisie, as well as her great-grandchildren Eian Fenner and Mariska Fenner. Additionally, she leaves behind her nephews, Daniel Mahoney and Edward Lindsey.

A graveside service will be held at 10 o’clock on Tuesday, March 24, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore.

Linda will be remembered for her steadfast faith and her enduring love for her family and friends. Her legacy of kindness and dedication continues to inspire all who knew her.
