Edgar Young

Edgar Warren (E.W.) Young Jr., 91, of Beeville Texas died Nov. 18, 2016. He was born Dec. 8, 1924 in Beeville to the late Lula Mae Fridge-Young and Warren Edgar Young. He owned and ran Young Auto until 1996 that started in 1919 by his father. He was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church, Kiwanis Club, PTA president, Little League baseball coach and ran the Beeville Youth Center. He loved fishing, golfing and dancing and taking all of his son’s friends water skiing and on hayrides.



He was preceded in death by first wife, Rosalie Calloway-Young; brother, John Warren Young; and sister, Inah May Young-Ritz.



He is survived by his current wife, Rosalie Royal-Young; son, Russell Warren Young and his wife, Kay Harris-Young; two grandchildren, Jason Warren Young and his wife, Melissa and Kasey Ryanne Young; and great-grandchildren, Corrina Katelyn, Teagan Delaney and Sierra Susan Young.





A memorial service will be held at a later date.
