Edebelia Garza

Edebelia G. Garza, 79, of George West, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019.

Mrs. Garza was born Aug. 8, 1939, in George West to Guillerma (Fuentes) and Ramiro Garcia Sr. She married Arnulfo T. Garza on May 25, 1958 in Seminole. She was a housewife, enjoyed cooking and was a member of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Arturo Garza; and a granddaughter, Rai-Ane Garza.

Survivors include two sons, Arnulfo (Martalena) Garza Jr. of San Antonio and Raynaldo Garza Sr. of Corpus Christi; a daughter, Darlene G. (Robert) Gonzales of Corpus Christi; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West. A rosary will be recited there that evening at 6:30 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted at Galloway & Sons Chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, with Deacon Shayne Katzfey officiating. Burial will follow in the George West Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Arnulfo Garza Jr., Humberto Castillo Jr., Robert Gonzales, Raynaldo Garza Sr., Raynaldo Garza Jr., Justin Peniger, Renato Garcia Jr. and Xavier Garcia.
